pod Supposed to be a Yellow Hab, Cross Reverting back to Motor Plant

Any ideas what it is reverting back to?  Was supposed to be bright yellow Hab Fruits. 
 
Peppers are shaped more like a scotch bonnet pepper than a habanero.  Was supposed to be yellow,  appears to be turning purple/brown.   This color is happening on a lot of peppers.
 
Could it be sunburn?  Could it be grow lines appearing?   Mold?
 
This plant has thrown me for more loops than I care to mention.

I'm hoping that is the case.  I got a couple other pepper plants behind it getting ready to pod up.  Have a designated use for these.  Would really throw me for a loop if they were a different strain. 
 
Hope it is still yellow. Lol.
