Powder from Chilli puree???

I got this question, I don't remember where, but I saw a pic of a Moruga puree supposedly from fresh deseeded peppers (there was Ghost puree too), then in the next picture was a nicely done powder (it didnt had flakes) and didn't explain how they did it :/ any ideas of that kind of process was used? I've been searching the forum but didn't find anything like that.

They more than likely just out it on the fruit roll up trays that are for dehydrators.

Or like Rymerpt said used a piece of wax/parchment paper.

Other people here make powders from what they food mill out of their sauces as well.

z-gorg,
:welcome: to THP.

What you are talking about is a simple process that can be used for many different things,

Any kind of ground chile can be dehydrated.  Any sauce can also be dehydrated.  A dehdrator with the trays will work for a number of different applications.

I use the fruit leather trays of my dehydrator to dry the tailings from hot sauce making. Would work for purees too. :)
