Cant seem to find any info on it.
+1 - I am growing a PDN Bhut (Pimenta De Neyde x Bhut). and the pods look just like that. Mine got to the Purple (then Black) stage fairly quickly. I'm told they will eventually ripen red.Bhuter said:Maybe it's a PDN Bhut (Pimenta De Neyde x Bhut). It's looking really nicely!

Does everything eventually turn fully red, or will some look like Pink Tiger pods? I am asking because I've never grown this before and I need to know when to pick them.mpicante said:PDN X BHUT SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT.A majority of these start purple and some change as in stripes(pink tiger) some turn black/Red(m.blackie).Kind of cool to see what you're going to end up with at maturity.
Honestly the sky is probably the limit on color.I HAVE SEVERAL PLANTS GROWING AND AS EVERYONE ELSE WITH PINK TIGER PLANTS IS HOPING FOR THE STRIPING.But the possibilities are endless in my opinion.Another plant called SCOUNDREL has brilliant purple colors with stripes or splotches a very striking pepper similar to that of the Pink Tiger.I don't believe a whole lot of these VARIATIONS are being isolated that much.ENRICO LAI-MOJO PEPPER IN ITALY HAS SOME VERY NICE PICS-OF WHATS POSSIBLE WITH THE PDN X BHUT CROSS.dragon49 said:Does everything eventually turn fully red, or will some look like Pink Tiger pods? I'll just have to wait and see. Last month, I picked 2, thinking that they were ripe as they we almost black, but they were in fact, quite immature. This has a very weird growth pattern, as I got these purple/black pods in less than 1 week after I put it outside, then they've kept the same color for almost a month. Mine is an F7, so I assume it should be pretty stable.
Can you post some links to Enrico Lai Mojo's peppers.
