Perhaps you and I should give it a try. I've never attempted to do a cross but I've been wanting to try.
My Farmer's Market Jalapeños are very corked. It's difficult to even see what color they are underneath the corking. Maybe crossing this with a BubbleGum would create a corked pod which has a calyx that turns red when it is ripe.
