fermenting HELP! Mold-like on Fermented Peppers

Hi Chilliheads!
 
Greetings!
 
My fermented chili (composed of chili & salt/brine solution) last June 22 has some mold-like on top of it.

What will I do? Can I just scrape it off and continue to ferment it?

Sorry burning man, I can't really tell.  Could be kham yeast or could be funk.  I don't think it looks good, or at least I'd be wary of it.  How does it smell?
