First post... but puzzled

So my friend and kinda went hog wild on his new full sun backyard, taking a bunch of peppers from seed to ground... I'm not sure if this pepper got mislabeled at some point in the process or what, but on my spreadsheet, it's a mulato isleno... which it obviously isn't. Any ideas? They are still immature, but they do have a bit of heat at this point.

looks like brazilian starfish, do you have a picture of the flower?
