Double Meat Chili

Been making this for 5 years now. Not your average chili,but,it's actually damn good. Also packed with 36g protein per serving if you're a fitness nut like I am.

1lb country sausage
2lb 90% lean ground beef
1 can pinto beans
1 can black beans
1 can dark red kidney beans
2 cans diced tomatoes(no added corn syrup or sugar)
2 cans tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 cup red wine
2 carrots,chopped
3 celery stalks,chopped
1 onion,diced
2 tbs italian spice
1 tbs minced garlic
1 tbs cayenne flakes
1 tbs red habanero powder

Directions:
1.Brown sausage and beef,add to large pot.
2.Saute onion,add to large pot.
3.Add tomatoes,sauce and beans to pot.(Juices and all)
4.Add carrots and celery to pot.
5.Add wine,water and spiced to pot.
6. Heat to just boiling,then simmer 2 hours.
7.Enjoy.

Understood but it becomes soup to me when it is not chili at the core of spices but that is just my opinion. Regardless, looks packed full of protein and not far off from my bean/meat mixed version.

Forgot to reply, i tried this, but i had to add chili powder because it tasted too much like some italian soup and not like chili but to each his own.
