seeds sprouting seeds in rockwool

I am absolutely extatic been sprouting seeds in paper towles, dirt, water popping, and the results are in I am switching to grotan rockwool. So I have used em in the past with other annuals so I pop 2 seeds into each cube and popped em in my grow dome and all 5 varieties sprouted no fuss no muss no soaking seeds overnight all I had to do was pH my water to 6.3 and soaked the cubes and plant the seeds and 4 days later all 5 cubes had both seeds sprout up still waiting on the paper towel to pop I see the start of the taproot but still slower. I'm gonna try another 5 sets today see if I get the same results using rockwool

Sounds like you sprouted annuums. It really doesn't matter what means you use to keep the seeds moist - if they were viable at the time they were taken from the pod they came from, and if you keep them moist and in the ideal temperature range, they will sprout, and they will sprout in whatever time is right for the particular variety. I switched to just using straight cups of water then moving to to starter soil or other growing medium as soon as the root peeks out of the seed casing, as I like watching the process.

I'd use coco if I didn't have 100+ litres of grotan expanded clay pellets I have in the basement doing hydro for some mother plants to clone off for next season
But am gonna try chinense next week same setup and see what I get
