Like the strawberry skulls. What's the name mean?

Mind flay was a play on brainstrain, the original chile peppers in the recipe. Flay means to skin or tear, mind was a play on brain.

What I found from videotaping people trying the sample was they were putting their hands on their head and breathing deep because of the heat.

Like they were trying to peel their hair off lol.

Eventually I switched to Carolina reaper peppers and kept the name because it sounded cool

So the sauce is named after a pepper that isn't in the sauce?

Yeah - just stick with "because it's a cool name" - lmao
I also love the little strawberry skulls, as is mentioned on FB. My favorite of your labels so far.

I figured the back story was cool... better than "just 'cause" ;)  Tricky to design around since the "y" in the name presents a symmetrical unbalance in the label when trying to put the descriptor in white underneath.
