Friend gave birth in shower

Pregnant friend thought she had to use the toilet.  Broke water on the toilet.  Took shower to clean up before drive to hospital.  Gave birth standing in the shower.  How the hell does that happen?  My wife was at least a few times to the ER for false calls.  Then with each child, it was lay and moan, measure, lay and moan, measure, lay and moan, measure.  Not complaining, but neither child just sort of slid out right after the water broke.

Now imagine being her husband.  She gets up from the toilet: Honey my water broke, get dressed and lets go, oh and btw: Here is our new baby.  I'd just sort of fall over dead from shock.
 
Hahaha life brother it finds its own way!! :) As crazy as that sometimes is! Well as long as she's fine and the baby is healthy tell them Congratulations delivered safe and clean!! :)
 
Yeah, women vary greatly when it comes to pregnancy. I know of women who come in, have a child within an hour or less, and are back at home within a couple more like nothing happened. Next day they are in the garden pulling weeds and what not. I am always impressed by that. Then you have some taking over 24 hours to deliver, and take weeks to recover.
