Heefys 2016 Grow

It's that time of year again. I started a few weeks back and am more than happy with the progress so far. I have only planted pubescens so far, as I am hoping for a very long season from them.

Probably sow some Chinense in a week or so and the Baccatums in February.

Most have looped, with good germination rates. I have started to pot on now.

I am aiming to grow out as many different pubescens as possible, so if you have any info on rare ones, please post or pm me. Cheers.

Happy Christmas everyone.

Good to see you on this forum Heath ... seedlings and young plants looking good ... wishing you all the best for your 2016 grow

Hello mate. I have been here for a couple of years, maybe. Never had a grow log before. All exciting stuff.

Looking good Heefy ... you and Nicholau (AZ1000) must have all the rocoto's covered

We have most of them. There are still a few we are missing. Always looking for some new ones or some from the various seed banks.

I to my understanding pubs like cool weather & shade .
So form what I read of y'all weather & form what I've seen in your glog heefy .
You should be having a bumper grow cause it looks like you have them mastered .

This forum is surely the place to list those missing if you have room and time. You wouldn't believe the generosity ... for me it's been staggering as some US vendors will not post internationally

It seems I have a few more updates. Things are moving on nicely now.
I am testing the grow bag tray as a large means of watering young plants. I wanted to make sure it didn't overflow! The blue plastic thing is a cover for an Autopot Aquavalve. This basically allows water in to the tray, waits for it to be used by the plants then adds more. It just uses gravity and a float. No electricity.

That is it with expanded clay balls on it. The pots will sit on top of the clay and the pots all have clay balls in the very bottom.

And another pod.

And to give you an idea of the size.

These are smallish pods on a small plant.

Currently the only pod on the plant. Grrr.

Unlike the above which is covered in small pods now.
