2016 Grow Start

Been starting some seeds, the first is the Jalapeno, used fresh from the Red ones and only 50% came up, glad I soaked them first to see who would sprout. Planted them in soil and they have come up so , so far so good :)
My Aji Lemon after a long struggle with Aphids  is finally looking good, so Im breathing easier now with him :)

Yeah had aphid problems myself, tried a dozen different natural remedies and nothing seemed to keep them gone. I ended up using a pesticide to keep my plants clean and now they are doing 100% better

The natural stuff never works. It gets rid of them for the here and now, but they are back before you know it. I started using bug b gone and they have not been back since.

Bahamian Goat seems to be a popular one.  Maybe one day I will grow it.  Good Luck with your grow this year.

Good luck with your grow.  Interested to see how your Roatan turns out.  I had one this year it was great, really hot habanero, but was more yellow, I was hoping for orange but then read somewhere they can be more yellow at times.

I had aphids on my yellow moa SB pretty bad used the insecticidal soap the first time .
I checked & they was not done was making for a counter attack.
So I then brought out another natural pesticide that I have that is more powerful it did the Job.
I ended up removing most of the leaves as the second one was harder on the plant but it is doing well now.
Best of luck on your 2016 grow

Nice list, I'm very curious of the Habanero Neon Yellow variety.
I'll follow you, best of luck in 2016!

One of my Rocoto Amarillo seeds is growing. Setup a couple pots and I had a bit of a surprise, I added peroxide to sterilize and oxygenate it and it then started to cook shortly after, Guessing my %3 bottle was actually %35 (food grade).

I just picked some of that up this weekend from Home Depot in anticipation of the aphids. I'm going to buy some ladybugs first and give that a shot.
