tsurrie's 2016 glog

So this is the new season... can't wait to put the seeds in the dirt.
I just finished preparing the grow "corner" for my future seedlings, and everything works fine.

The lights are prepared and I plan not to go over 200 plants this year.. but we'll see how that goes.

Like last year ... I'm planning to grow mostly chinense's and annums... but there will be some baccatums (Aji Lemondrop, Aji Amarillo,...) and pubescens (Rocoto,...) that  hogleg sent me....

I'm still working on the final grow list.
But I'm really looking forward to start the action in a week or so.

I look forward to following your grow this year. Good luck! And get that seed list up! I'm curious to see what all the seed train people are growing this year, I'm sure there must be an overlap.

The 2016 grow list below. I'm starting this weekend or the next one.

:) ... my plan not to go over 200 plants seems kinda weird now. I got over and over the list, excluded quite a few varieties and still have plenty. I hope I'll end up removing some more, but the wish to grow them is so strong. Well you probably know how it feels.

All the very best ... a balanced list with great heat and flavour ... nice LED set up

Thanks man. Looks nice, hope it works as half as good as it looks. Last season I got them too late to really tell. So now it's the time to really test them.

Hey Tsurrie! Nice list, I think I sent you ButchT x Douglah f4 red pheno not plain ButchT. just a fyi

Hope you have an excellent season!

Thanks!
The baggie says "Butch T Yellow" and nothing else....there's another baggie in the pack that says Yellow Douglah.
Whatever you say I'll write it down.

OK   Sorry my memory is fried. If it says Yellow BT then thats what it prolly is. I know I sent someone overseas the BT cross. I just don't remember who??

Sorry for my confusion

No worries. :) Thanks again for sending the seeds. Will be growing all of them this season. Prolly gonna keep a few for my stash tho.

Try to grow at least 3 or 4 of Sicmans mystery, being an f2 its pheno types are all over the map. But some of them are very exciting. I had one really stunning pheno last year. The plant had lots of purple highlights in the stems, leaves, and blossoms. Pods went from green to purple to chocolate brown. IMO purple to chocolate is a pretty rare color transition. And the pod shape looked like a swollen bhut very similar shape to the original f1. The f3's I'll be growing out this year are chosen from that plant

Heat was about even with a bhut but had better flavor.

How many of each type are you planning on sowing? I'm asking because that list is nowhere near 200 plants, which would mean multiples of some.

Great list!
I'm intrigued by the Habanero Cappuccino. Got any information about that one?

Thanks.
Those are the seeds from Nulle, which I got via EU seed train last year. I'm growing them for the first time to see what's the difference between them and Chocolates. Just out of curiosity. Maybe they're similar to classic Habanero brown.

I'm always sowing at least 5 seeds per variety, sometimes even more if I want it 200% :) So do the calculations... If the germination rates are going to be as good as the last season, I'll be giving a lot away when the time comes.

Very nice list and nice grow set up. putting some thoughts in my head.

Thanks man. It was actually very cheap all together. The most expensive was the power supply ... I should also order that from china at the time.
