Kuban Hot Peppers Glog 2016

Hello!

I'm new on this forum, so please do not judge me harshly. I am from Russia, Kuban region, Krasnodar City (Olympic Games in Sochi in 2015 remember? From Sochi to Krasnodar 182 miles). Since English is not my native language, I will communicate with you through an interpreter, so please turn a blind eye to various shortcomings.

Peppers started in 2015, there were a few bushes of local peppers, the names of which you probably will not say anything, the only thing I can say they were Capsicum Annuum, as well as a bush Bhut Jolokia Pumpy.

In the new 2016, I swung at more interesting varieties not typical for my country. Here is a list of peppers, which I have chosen:
  • Cheiro Roxa
  • Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Brown
  • Black Naga
  • Carolina Reaper Red
  • Fatalii Brown
  • Fatalii Red
  • 7 Pot Brain Strain
  • 7 Pot White
  • Serrano
  • Habanero Brown
  • Goat`s Weed
  • Giant Jalapeno
So, February 1 I have them all soaked with plain water (I know about hydrogen peroxide and about chamomile tea) in a paper towel in a mini-greenhouse (which he built from empty box for Japanese rolls and temperature / humidity purchased on aliexpress). Mini-greenhouse with seeds placed on a heater central heating system, the sensor shows 97% humidity and 91.4 degrees Fahrenheit (sensor shows Celsius , for your convenience translated into Fahrenheit). Once a day, I open the greenhouse for ventilation and checking moist.

Here's how it looks:

Let's see what all this will in any case it will be a very interesting experience. With the update - it will spread here and answer your questions, if you will (not necessarily about peppers and growing).

Thank you for your attention.

That's pretty much the same as the growing season for us here in the Midwest US.

Nice list you have, best of luck this season

Welcome from Lithuania and good luck growing.
When I saw, that you are from Russia, I thought, someone in similar climate as I am, but later in the sentence I see, that you are in Southern part of Russia. So you should be fine.

Thank you for your wishes. Yes, I'm from the South of Russia, near the banks of the Black Sea. You also wish good luck.

Once again, greetings to everyone! How are you ? I hope that all things are good.

So I broke down and planted in the ground all the seeds, but it took only one week and one day after soaking. I did this because I could not always control the humidity of paper towel, and once it has dried up, that there are not good for seeds.

By the way, in spite of the short time, I have a winner before all hatch two seeds Fatalii Brown.

The mixed soil (I took one part peat, coir and vermiculite) and planted all the seeds. In the photo is the end of the process (as a substrate so as not to litter, used the neighboring city map, I hope that the residents of Voronezh me not offended).

Seeded tape I put in a plastic box with a brilliant insulation, energy-saving light bulb 4000K and acquaintances you a thermometer / hygrometer. In the near future it is necessary to think about the ventilation.

Here's how it looks now.
