MoA SB , cross?

I started a whole bunch of MoA SB from different sources that came from wicked mike's seed train. I'm really into SB and wanted to get a true pheno, so I started like 7 plants. Here's a sample of 3 plants.

The one on top looks way different than the others, is a darker yellow, almost looks orangish but definitely yellow. It has a very very pungent chinense odor, double at lease of the others. Im thinking this is closes to the true MoA but not the typical MoA pheno what it looks like. It's also the second picture, except in the daylight.

well, mine I believe have the color and right flesh, but not the shape. This picture from pepperlover is the "true" MoA yellow SB that I keep on seeing everywhere. But I guess it's really the flesh that matters the most.

Is there a question in your post? If you want true pheno then what you have pictured isn't it. The scotch bonnet has 3-4 lobes and is characterized by a cup and saucer shape. Hence a "scotch bonnet.". Plants can throw off poor pod shapes early in the season in my experience the first couple pods usually. Are these the first? It appears crossed imho. I grew scotch bonnets last year with a truer shape. Juanitos had seeds for MoA scotch bonnets from the CARDI recently for sale. Check with him in March you can buy CARDI scotch bonnet plants from him.

Okay.  You weren't getting many responses, so I was wondering.  If you received the seeds from the train, then it could be crossed with anything.  I kinda think it resembles a Bahamian Goat which there are many who grow both the Scotch Bonnets and Bahamian Goats as they are both excellent peppers enjoyed by a lot of people.  The color with the darker orange reminds me of the Bahamian Goat pepper.   Others know a helluva lot more than I do. More pods from your plant may produce the true shape.  I did grow both BG and SB last year, but I am a novice!  I hope that helps. If you want to grow from seeds I can spare 6 seeds of true to get you going with a plant.

Here may be the definitive thread on SB.  Or a good one anyway.  I am sure you have seen it. Pay particular attention to post #100 and #137 which shows a pretty good shape.

BigB if I can send you 1/2 doz. seeds let me know.  You should get what you want from all the SB seeds on the train. Hopefully, the plant starts behaving and putting out cup and saucer! PM if needed.

Sort of.  My goats are much lighter orange, those are yellow gold.
