Deformed leaves...not again!

Should I suspect Broad mites? Apart from the curling, they seem to have stalled.

I know they are not over watered. I was suspecting broad mites. I don't feed them anything. They are two weeks old, Jiffy pellets into MG seedling mix. I never add anything until plants are at least 6 inches tall.

What do you think I should give them?

MG stuff is kinda shitty to be honest. its alot of mulch and bark and muddy... or atleast the stuff they sell around here is. maby its blended differently in canada.

you live in canada though, id reccomend you get some promix since you only have a few plants and its only like 30 bucks a bail up there? or blend in some more peat and perlite into your MG soil.

you need to feed the plants from pretty much the get go.  id reccomend you get a small bag of maxigrow/floramato from a hydro store or on amazon or what ever.

mg is shitty. it has some ammonium, but its mostly urea amended from what i recall(urea is cheap). the urea is how they can claim that the soil "feeds for 3 months" or what ever bullshit they are claiming these days.

urea is shit though. you want nitrogen thats more or less available to your plants right now so they can get back on track. you need nitrate and a little bit of ammonium maby.

you also need to sort out your micronutients. MG will have almost none. maxigrow will provide this to your plants immediately.

im not saying run maxigrow the whole time, just untill you get your plants back on track. then you can go back to what ever organic growing setup you have in mind.

Wow, I was really thinking an infestation. I won't have the time to order something but there are some better seedling mixes around here, I was just using what I had on hand. I'll get some Fafard tomorrow. I always had good results with that. And I'll look into Maxigrow.

Thank you for the info guys. If anyone else has anything to add, please do.

if farfad is anything like promix you should be good to go.  if you have loads of the miracle grow bagged mix already... you could blend them together to get where you need to be.

you want a light spongy mix that you can squeeze all of the water out of without mud and slop running through your fingers. ideally you want something super light and fluffy and airy like straight promix hp, but soil less media is not for everyone.
