My problem children

Over the last couple of weeks these two plants have gone from healthy, lush and green to having all of the new growth become white and bumpy.  At first I thought that I may have had them bake in the sun on my front porch when I watered them last week but I don't think that is an issue now.  I only water them just before they begin to wilt.  I have given them a small dose of fish emulsion.  I thought the problem may have been bacterial but there should be plenty of air circulation even in this box that I keep them in because it is near a heater vent.  I channel some of the moving air into the box.

I search extensively though other forum threads trying to find images of plants that have the same exact issues but I failed to find an image similar enough to what my plants look like.

I'm stumped and I think I need a fresh perspective.

Thanks,

I also found a few of these bugs crawling around the edges of my containers. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you everyone.

Could be calcium deficiency.

Fertilize with a little tomato tone.

Should help.

As for the fly,it looks like a fungus gnat.

Yeah dude they are fungus gnats. I inspected the soil surface under all the canopies and found bit of mold growing on some dead leaves that had fallen off at some point.   I need to do a better job of keeping the area cleaner.  I also should transplant them out of their cardboard eco containers and into some plastic one because a can see a big potential slime mold problem happening.

Thanks for the help.
