The Count's Drunken Adventures In The Kitchen

I know we already have the drunken chef thread, but I'm going to start this anyway.  Almost anytime I snap a picture in the kitchen whisky is involved.  Don't let the beers with the plated pics fool you, I just crack one open to drink while eating since hot straight bourbon doesn't taste good with food to me.  The rest of the night is all WHISKY!!!  t didn't even know I had taken most of the pics I'm going to upload initially.  They date back to October 2015 or so and I just found them while uploading pics from the camera of a recent off-roading trip.

So lets start with Drunken Chicken Lo Mein…...

Next up is BBQ chicken, oven roasted potatoes and Ranch Style canned beans.

Tostados?  I seriously do not remember making or eating these!

A chicken fried steak sammich.

I've made and eaten that.

But.

Not like that.

On toasted Texas toast.

With melted cheese.

Tomatos.

Pickled jalapenos.

Texas CFS.

Think outside the white gravy.

Your world.

Rocked.

Ive made a chicken fried steak sandwich before with fresh jalapeños and A1 sauce on a sesame seed bun. It was a glorified version of Dairy Queens The Dude without the salad on top. Very good use of leftover CFS.

Got these habanero and hatch chili sausages at Whole Foods last weekend. Cooked in the oven on convection setting with onion, bell pepper and jalapeños until almost done and then finished in a grill pan.

Count, I'm all about your food, but rice, beans, bread, tortilla, SOMETHING! That lonely link is pathetic

Salisbury steak and modded canned Ranch Style Beans. The beans had cooked onion and jalapeño in them and also bbq seasoning and cayenne powder. The steaks are typical with an addition of Franks Xtra Hot. The gravy has jalapeños and serranos with the typical onion.

This was half a steak because I had a late afternoon ramen snack. So the wife and I split one.

The Count said:
I know right. We grew up on garden grown beans, peas, and veggies. But my Grandpa loved Ranch Style Beans, so we ate them....... alot.

I've eaten more beans.

Than any man seen.

I loved canned RSB's when I was a kid.

Not quite as bad for you as Oscar Mayer Bologney.

And not even in the same league as bacon.

Or SPAM.

Dammit.

Now I'm craving ranch style beans.

And SPAM!
