now onto some Pictures. (that's what your really here for right :P )

Started seeds in GH Rapid Rooter plugs (work great for cuttings and good for seeds too)

3.17.16 sprouts

3.21.16 sprouts

Seedlings at approximately 3.5 weeks after sowing

(This tray was started mid Janurary i cant find original pics, but they almost died twice when i had to leave them in the care of my Mother In-law for 11 days, then 7 days) these pictures taken on 3.30.16 after reviving some back to health

onto potting up...

start with these fine ingredients here

...

Cont.

that Fox Farm Ocean Forest is expensive here, however i fortunately found this for under $7 each
so this organic ProMix, BushDoctor-CocoLoco, and Fox Farm Ocean Forest get mixed, then i add in some more Perlite, some Worm castings, and mix it all up again.
to this i add a tsp of myco and azos powder at transplant into 5 x 5 x 6 deep square pots i can fit 12 of these pots per tray, 2 trays per shelf, and 3 shelves on my grow rack, each shelf has 4 T8 four foot tubes as well as cheap LED sidelighting kept as close as possible to the plants and adjusted as they grow

3.06.16

3.17.16

3.19.16

3.19.16

3.30.16

3.30.16

3.30.16 (2nd round of transplants, not all get done at once, that would take forever :P )

4.05.16

4.05.16

4.05.16

4.05.16

Aerogarden experiment ;

introduced extra sprouts to the aerogarden

3 days after introducing to the Aerogarden

11 days in Aerogarden

...

Cont.

4.06.16 some of them were growing tall faster than their siblings and i didn't want to continue raising the light so they got moved to the table by the windows where i normally keep my Amaryllis bulbs (you can see the beginning of scald and blushing of anthocyanins on a couple of them )

Another Project:

Tidy Cat Litter Bucket, PVC parts, sprayers, pump, net cups...  Now i got another cheater :D

9 sites wasn't enough, and we got plenty of these buckets :P so i made another one :)

and Aerogarden update;

4.11.16 removed the Yellow Jalapeno that was in the front far right and transferred it to soil, it went limp for almost a day then stood up and by the next day had adjusted like nothing ever happened

4.15.15 Roots in Aerogarden

4.17.16 Removed one of the Aji Melecoton from the middle hole and transplanted into soil, again the plant recovered quickly and is taking to soil well

...

4.21.16  There are now many more Peppers that are too tall for the grow rack that had to be moved to the table by the windows

Thanks for taking the time to look at my glog, i will try to update more frequently now and include pics of the overwinters as well.
stay tuned for updates

Booya! There it is! Your plants look like they have turned the corner on any damage they may have sustained earlier. Looking good!
Nice cheater tank, too. How do you keep the plugs wet until the plants grow roots down into the water? Or are your plugs in contact with the water? I made a couple of those a few weeks ago, but I just drilled 2" wide holes in some 2" foam board insulation, set the net pots in the holes, and floated the foam board on top of the water. It works good for germinating tomato seeds, but I'm not sure I'm supposed to have the plugs in constant contact with the water. They seem waterlogged. I've never used rapid rooters before though, so I don't know.
Any ideas would be appreciated. I want to get things ironed out before I start attempting to germinate rare wild seeds once I have some 4.5" pots freed up to transplant into.

the rapid rooter cubes are being misted by the sprayers and the pump, they are not sitting in water but are being sprayed with water.
alternatively you could transfer the starts directly into net cups of hydroton.
I'll try to get some more pictures of what's going on inside later today.

thanks for looking at my Glog
