Is there a benefit to having a large reservoir vs smaller. I'm building a NFT system and have a 250 gallon water tank laying around would I be wasting nutes or prolonging the need to change out the nutes as I'm hoping? Sorry for the dumb question I'm new at this Hydro thing. NFT system will be 15 foot long 4 stack

Reservoir size question

Generally the larger the reservoir the less you will have to dick with it. You will see less pH & EC fluctuation with a larger res compared to a smaller one so larger is definitely better for the most part.
The only downside I can think of to having a gigantic reservoir is that you still need to do a complete res change every so often so if your plants have barely made a dent in the nutrient solution by the time you do that you could be wasting a bit.
