How to identify to not make mistake

Hello,
 
I want to ask how to identify peppers for example Carolina Reaper and 7 Pod Primo Pepper because when I look on them on few articles like this http://browse-read.com/the-15-hottest-pepper-in-the-world-other/  they are looks similar.
Do you have any advice how to indentify Carolina Reaper from other similara pepper?
I know that indentify will be easier when I taste it because we got SHU diffrence.
But I want to know how to do it well from lookin on them.

     What Willard posted is gold. Anything beyond that and you're trying to ID variety, cultivar or landrace. That gets tricky and is often a guessing game without looking at the seed packet or knowing the seed's origins.
