I bought a Bhut plant from OSH a while ago when the plant was only about 4" tall. Fast forward to now, it is in an 18 gal. container and is about 2ft tall with a decent first pod set and many flowers.
HOWEVER, it turns out this plant, was actually TWO plants. This became apparent when I noticed that the pods were very different physically. The pods on the right are dark green, wrinkled, and warted. I am pretty confident that they are the Bhuts that I originally wanted.
But I do not know what the pods on the left are. They look Bhut-ish, but they are larger, a paler green, and although they are wrinkled and warted, they are not AS wrinkled and warted as the others.
Can anyone help me I.D. these please? Did I stumble upon maybe a different variety of Bhut (peach, caramel, chocolate, etc.) or did I get wamboozled and get something completely different?
