smokers kamado vs pit barrel smokers

So I was really wanting a pit barrel type smoker so I could do more baby back ribs then 3 racks. I found this rack which holds 6 vertical instead of my normal laying them flat and turning them over half way through. so now I have no need for the pit barrel that I was licking my chops for lol. For some reason I'm not able to post the pic.

For the Akorn? ... You. Must. Post.

I need to send in my membership $$$$ so I can post pics the easy way lol.

Here is the pic just renewed membership

No need for a pit barrel anymore. Sweet !!!

This pic was taken 3  1/2 hours into the smoke @ 250*. I threw on some sauce for the remaining 1/2 hour. 4 hours at 250 on this kamado always makes the perfect ribs.

Mine is a non-stick coated one. Also that is an interesting way to smoke them. What is used to keep the round shape ?

With that technique I might be able to fit 8 racks

In the center one you see a toothpick. However I'd prob use (or it is) a bamboo skewer.

I think that's the Weber one - which if so, I have it!

And then there's this maneuver:

I think I bought mine at home depot and it holds 6 racks where the ones in this pic hold 5 racks.
