Banner advertisements

Found the information previously, but cant today.  Looking for rates on the top banner that is being used by google right now.  I know how to target a google advert to specific sites, but then google gets most of the money spent.  Hoping there is a price to buy it direct for x amount of time.  I think Pex Peppers had it for a bit.
