smoking Huli Haole Rib Tips Del Rogue

I broke out the Del Rogue 007 Stick Burner UDS for this one, again. Oak was the wood of choice. Can't get kiawe here...

No matter.

I used the Huli Huli rub and sauce from Steve Raichlen's Ribs book. It was the first time I used a rub with NO paprika.
 
Rubbed and ready.

 
The sauce has a deep, lacquery look to it.  Yum.

 
Fire at Camp Del Rogue!

 
Wife wanted garden zucchini.  Okay...

 
Done.

 
Added parmesan.

 
Great sauce, dudes.  Eat this!

 

 
The cook was just under 1 hour, and still, there is a smoke ring.  Surprised me.
