Water Soluble fertilizer question

Hello fellow growers! I have hot peppers in containers, and cucumbers and tomatoes in a raised bed. I was wondering while I use my water soluble fertilizer, which I believe is 18-18-21, would it harm the fruits (tomatos/cucumbers) if some of the water got onto them? I have cukes growing a little larger closer to the soil and I try blocking most of the fert with my hand, but some would still get on them. I try searching but it never turns up what I need to know. Any input is appreciated, thanks! 

i wouldn't sweat it !   just try to avoid if possible   

Okay thanks. I guess it can't be any worse than when fields are sprayed with pesticides huh? Have you ever experienced this yourself?
