Yesterday...

So that beer I raved about a few days ago... LIC Backjump, I can say, it really made an impact because I was able to pick it out... went to a different bar, the barkeep said he had a new beer for me to try, I tasted it and said "lemme try to guess what it is..." and he smirked... "LIC Backjump." Dude was astonished at my palate lol... beer's THAT good, that I remembered exactly how it tasted... still just as good.

Hidden Hopyard Vol. 7, Manor Hill Brewing. Way more hazy than Vol. 6, and much tastier as well. This was canned 12 days ago, so still packs a solid hop aroma. I've become more of a fan now of this series after this beer, and will keep my eyes out for Vol. 8 when it drops later this year.

I think you sent me vol. 6 ? Pretty good but nothing great, 7 sounds a lot better :) looks good too. Cheers

Yeah, the one I sent you was Vol. 6. Vol. 7 was much better, atually it seemed like a completely different beer.

It still isn't on the level of many of the other IPA heavy hitters in the NE, but if they keep improving their recipe, it could eventually become a contender.
