beer Being Crafty

Had to go to a wedding in Richmond, VA on Friday. Plane landed at 1pm, and the wedding wasn't until 6pm. So, with some time to kill, the wife and I got a cab from the airport straight to Triple Crossing Brewery. I'd originally wanted to go to The Veil, but they didn't open until 4pm, and that would've been cutting it too close for time.

Either way, Triple Crossing puts out some freakin' killer beers! Had a great time, and the people there were cool as phuck

Brick oven pizza was on point too

They actually had a waitress taking orders for pours for everybody in the can release line, which was freakin awesome!

Pretty damn good pie, for being so far South! I was pleasantly surprised! I think it was a white pie w/ fresh red chiles on it

Plum sour was off the freakin' hook

Tap list that day:

Out of the ones I had (no pour limits!  Tree House is 2 pours MAX), my favorites, in order, were:
-All Neon Like
-Best Kept Secret
-Mosaic Triangles
-Proximity Project: Plum Sliced
-Ivory Tower
-OTC Pilsner (only one my wife drank, haha)
-Falcon Smash (didn't like this one at all)

Came home with these in my suitcase, plus a T-shirt, and a few glasses

Such a good time!

I'm sure the wedding pales in comparison!!!!
It totally did!
We knew the wedding was gonna suck going into it (neither one of us really wanted to go), and we REALLY didn't want to leave the brewery.

It was funny, when we got to the wedding (open bar), they had bottles of Stella Artois, which I like. After drinking all those awesome beers earlier in the day, I almost gagged after my first sip of Stella, haha

Then, it dawned on me...... "Holy shit...... maybe I AM a snob!"

Triple Crossing is the (.Y.)

It worked out perfectly that you made it there for their can release day. They had the Juicy Brew festival there at Triple Crossing today.

I wish I was able to make it down there to meet up with you for some brews!
