Beer and oysters again. This time a Nickel Brook.

Black Forest Bastard
One of the few releases of theirs I wanted but missed last year.
The keg got pulled at Arabella Park when I went looking for it on peche mortel day last year. Disappointed then but actually happy I ended getting to try peche mortel nitro instead. Well made beer but not what I was hoping for in something called black Forrest.

Good barrel aged stout though, like just about everything based on Kentucky Bastard.

Dark tap room pics ahead

Kontiki Bastard. I didn't get coconut off this but I don't care. Damn good stout.

Of course I brought my own hot sauce after the last time. Clearly Guilty is a perfect acid for oysters. Touch of seafood sauce and fresh grated horseradish.

Wow, this one is seriously fantastic

"Mexican Hot Chocolate is our Imperial Stout conditioned on Madagascar vanilla beans, cinnamon, nutmeg, & three different varieties of chili peppers. The result is a stout with notes of dark & milk chocolate, creaminess from the vanilla beans, spice from the cinnamon, nutmeg, & peppers, and heat from the chili peppers. We've updated the base recipe to now be 15% ABV!"
