I HAVE PROMISES TO KEEP (Tree House Double IPA - 7.9% ABV)
"In 2014, I brewed an American Pale Ale - Beneficiaries of Chance - to celebrate marrying the love of my life, Lauren. Over the years time is has become a perpetual tradition to honor our bond with a new, celebratory beer to mark the occasion. For our fourth anniversary, I am pleased to offer a new Double IPA, I Have Promises To Keep! It is brewed with copious doses of Nelson and Citra in both the kettle and the dry hop. It tastes and smells strongly of citrus, sweet sauvignon blanc grapes, and gooseberries. It is loaded with flavor and yet maintains an easy drinking, mouth watering appeal. As the years pass by, and bonds grow deeper, its vital to reflect upon, and give thanks for, the special people in your life. I sincerely hope that this beer may serve as a vehicle to do so."
 
I hit a few brews today, including this one while watering a few seedlings. Sorbet! It's a mighty tasty milkshake style IPA.

"Sorbet is an IPA with peach and mango. Inspired by Kais favorite milkshake from West Chester. Reminiscent of Kai and Claudias first date, when they were going to school in West Chester. Huge notes of peach, mango, and vanilla."

good enough explanation for me. i hit a different store in search of something new to me and i picked up the two beers i posted tonight. the ones i like go on my list of "buy again" brews. your description is spot on to some reviews i read online. this is an ale and i steer towards IPA`s and double IPA`s so not my favorite either. 1 down and 5 to go.  :beer:

It's like drinking a malty breakfast!

"Moment of Clarity is an American Milk Stout carefully brewed and conditioned with coffee, chocolate, and dark amber maple syrup. It pours beautifully in the glass with a rich, mousse-like head and dense complexion. It exhibits strong maple and chocolate aromas on the nose and recalls chocolate covered maple cream candies in the flavor. Though dense and flavor filled, it still maintains a certain fluffiness that makes it easy and pleasant to drink a big glass of. It is a wonderful and decadent treat that, for us, evokes a earning for relaxed Sunday mornings by the fire with a pile of chocolate chip waffles."

I tried to score some cans of this one, but they sold out in the first hours of release today. I was able to score a draft pour, at least, and it is killer! Lots of Lucky Charms marshmellows present in both flavor and aroma.
