Chile de arbol growing upright?

Mine are upright, I thought chile de arbol was a hanging cayenne type. Yours look like others I have seen.

So, if it's an upright pepper, maybe I ended up with a fructescens or a Thai bird or something?

It looks like based on dragonsfire's picture that they start out growing upward and either as they mature or as they get heavier they start shifting downward. I'd say give it some time. Even if it doesn't turn out to be that, you've still got a healthy looking plant.

The moment I saw your plant I was thinking what peppamang just said. Give it time and watch them droop.
