Hello from Mississippi

Hi guys! Glad I found this forum of you fellow chili fans. I'm here to learn about amazing hot sauces and spicy recipes that will melt your face off. Also, none of my friends like hot sauce (although they've learned to watch out for any sauce I bring to gatherings), so I thought it could be cool to chat with you all. I haven't always been a pepper-head though. Up until about a year ago I was a mild sauce person... I know... Then I suddenly just started craving spicy food. I got some amazing hot sauces in New Orleans, created a nice little collection, and I smother my food in hot sauce daily. My tolerance has gone up and most of my small collection has become too underwhelming. What should I try next to seriously up my game? Thanks!

Look through the reviews section of the forums for hot sauce reviews and you might could find something that strikes your interest. You can always search YouTube for reviews on a specific sauce, as there most likely will be at least one (or several) video taste/reviews of it. I usually get sauces locally where I am... so aside from that and ordering from individual manufacturers directly, I've had great experience from Heat Hot Sauce Shop (http://heathotsauce.com/) and iBurn (http://www.iburn.com/). You can browse through there based on heat levels, different peppers, styles, etc. I always recommend Heartbreaking Dawns '1498 Cauterizer' as a good step-up sauce from more traditional sauces. It was the very first true artisanal hot sauce I tried - most excellent fruity flavor with a great heat; it's still one of my absolute favs.!  ;)
