Black Njahi beans

Picked these up at the African mart awhile back and not sure what the game plan is yet but says "packaged in Nairobi" Just wondering if anyone has heard or tried these interesting looking beans.

I had a bag like that I found that was like 8 years old, I made it into flour and used it in bread making, was great

They kinda look like black eyed peas.  Have you cooked them yet?

I'm betting Njahi means black and that is a dual language label. In Swahili, Nyeusi is black, so maybe a dialect. But these look like black beans.

No, haven't done anything with these beans yet. Probably go with dragonsfire's idea and make flour. I just bought a grain mill so its possible.
