pickling New and Improved Pickles

I thought that I had posted this, but was waiting to taste them to post and had forgotten to do so.

This batch is much tastier than the last batch (http://thehotpepper.com/topic/61346-my-simple-pickles/)  that I made which was too plain:

3.5 cups vinegar
1.5 cups water
4 tablespoons kosher salt
2 tablespoons sugar
Stuff with dill and dill heads
1.5 tablespoons mustard seeds

I didn't weigh the dill or dill heads that went into the jars, but I really packed it in—at least 5x more than the last batch.

Look Amazing just beautiful !!!! Enjoy dragon i love my homemade pickles. I have a great recipe for spicy bread and butter if interested. :)
I am interested :)  I'm going to ignore any instructions to add garlic or onions to the brine, but will probably honor everything else.

Haha not a fan of onions? I make a fermented dill pickle and my wife liked the straight up style like yours the best. Felt the garlic overpowered the pickles. She's not a fan of onion but loves em pickled. Will post that recipe for ya it's Killer.

I do love throwing in a nice Hab to add some heat to my dills.

Try West Indian Bhurr Gherkins sometime....You may not go back to using cukes for pickles. Ive hot and cold brined them.

Looks cool!  I've been using cucumbers because I grew a ton and needed a way to preserve them.  I'll have to check these out.  Ty.
