What's a good way to save seeds? I overwintered a plant so I had some other fresh seeds to start, but how would I go about saving seeds like you did?

It's pretty simple to save seeds from peppers. All you do is allow the pods to ripen on the plant (you should not pick them while still green) then you cut the pepper open and pull the seeds out. Put them on a paper plate and allow to dry for a few days in the air. You will know they are dry when you can spread them around without them sticking together. Then you can put them in a baggie or envelope. That's all there is to it.

Perfect, thank you! The part about being able to spread them without sticking is the tip I needed!
