Beef Jerkey

Been craving some homemade jerkey. Hit up HEB and picked up an eye of the round cut. Some Salt Lick marinade & black pepper.

Marinaded overnight and added some pecan liquid smoke

Ran out of room, last few pieces got skewered and hung in the oven on the lowest setting. Door wedged open.

Find some Claude's Brisket Marinade(every where) cause its Texas
Fresh super pods or powder,heat marinade gently till steaming
Let it cool then soak the meat a good 12hrs or more
No need to thank me,JUST DO IT!

First time ever trying the Salt Lick marinade. Made in Texas! Pretty dayuum tasty. They ain't stingy with the pepper either.


Just ate a couple of the smaller pieces. Oh My, best batch of jerkey too date..
