chinense Pics of NagaReaper?

I am curious as well!  I have my eye on that cross.  Were your seeds obtained from buckeye peppers?

I will need to check.

To my eye, they look more like red Habaneros than anything else.

@96strat,

Thanks.

I could not find where I ordered any NagaReaper, so I presume they were 'freebies'.

Anyway, pic of my 'NagaReaper' pods:

Red Habaneros, correct?

Ok... so that is a seperate variety from the 'naga morrich/reaper cross' you posted in the gnarly pods thread.  Both varieties are very intriguing.

@moruga welder,

Thanks for the pics.

Not at all like mine *sigh* Oh well, at least I did not pay for the seeds. Would have been nice to get those pods, though.

Yes, the NagaReaper and the Naga Morich/Reaper are completely different.

I am really pleased with the Naga Morich/Reaper.

Do you recall from what source you acquired the seeds by chance?

I would need to look through my (rather extensive) collection of seeds, and see if I could identify the vendor by the seed packet.

I will post if I can tell where the seeds came from.

Alkhall, yours look a lot like Red Savinas but the top left definitely shares a shape with some of my Caramel Bhuts and several have a segmented section that, while not a tail, does kind of scream "not a Hab!" to me.

Yes, not true red Habaneros, must be a cross, but it appears they are definitely not NagaReaper.

Hopefully, I can find the original seed packet. I only planted 4 seeds, so I should have some left over.

Well, I found the seed packet.

And, I discovered that I did, in fact, pay for the seeds.

Got a really good deal on other seeds, which grew true, so, not a total loss.

Still, it would have been nice to get some actual NagaReaper pods.

Oh well, sh*t happens.
