chinense Primo vs Reaper talk

Why do you say that?
He's joking because it's obviously the same pepper..............or maybe not at all.
It's a years old controversy, and it's gotten to the point where it's sort of irreversible. So it doesn't really matter anymore.

Even Troy says he doesn't care anymore. He just enjoys growing peppers, and not turning it into the big dick contest that some people do.

By the way, have y'all seen his Louisiana Creeper yet? That thing looks cool as hell.

What Jubnat said ++

I have talked (email) to the person who created the 7 Pot Primo.  He seems to be a very nice working class sort of guy.  I haven't met Mr. Curry in any way.  I deeply respect Primo for treating me well and with kindness.  Mr. Curry is one of the billions of people I havent met.  So I if we were kids fighting in a playground, I would be on Primo's side.  Thing is, I am not a kid fighting in a playground.

So I wish them both well.

Yeah, Troy Primeaux is a great guy. Just a regular, down to earth dude. He's just genuinely really interested in growing peppers. Just like all of us. Only, he's had a little more success, or recognition than some of us(though not as much as he probably deserves).

Too bad he isn't on THP anymore(I think he might have been at one point). He's probably just tired of hearing this kinda thing.
Maybe I'll bug him about it next time I run into him.... His wife's got a new batch of pepper jelly that I probably need to pick up.

I was flattered that he would take time to talk with me.  I think he was the one that told me about conventions and trade shows.  I had no idea despite kind of being in the business.  He did not treat me like an idiot for that lack of knowledge.
