Lunchbox Peppers

Has anyone heard of these/know where to get seeds?

We got them at the restaurant from a local farm, and of course I didn't think to save the seeds.

They were about the size of a marble, crunchy and sweet, no heat. I pickled them whole, and of course the bar stole them all to garnish Bloody Mary's.

I wonder if they have any different names...

I think it just refers to bite size peppers so basically the minis

My grandmother wanted me to grow some of the mini sweet peppers you get with vegi trays and what not... so after some tracking I discovered they were called lunchbox peppers. I found them at johnny's selected seeds and I grew them last year, but unfortunately I didn't have a great experience with them. I honestly couldn't tell you whether they are a good or bad genetic as my season was pretty rough in general last year.

My local farm grows these from seed. Sweet and crunchy. They are a bit bigger than you said - similar in size to a small, fat jalapeno. Some get even bigger.

I've seen those peppers before.
But the ones I got were super small, like you could eat a few at a time.

Does anyone know of any other sweet peppers about the size of a marble?

It doesn't look like it, those say they are 2-3" fruits. The ones I got were maybe 1/2" to 3/4". And when I got them, they were green, yellow, orange, and red, and in between. So they looked awesome when garnishing dishes with the whole pickled peppers.

I'm just going to have to bug them next week when they come. But the driver doesn't always know all of the details. Hopefully he can scrounge up a few seeds for me, I'll have to make him some more hot sauce for him...but he likes it pretty mild.

The first two are listed as medium heat. The last is listed as mild
