Exemptions

If you are thinking on making a commercial food product, I thought I would share my latest discovery: exemptions.  It seems there is the official rules and then exemptions that your local health authority can grant.  The official rules say if I want to build a commercial kitchen, I need a septic system for black water.  Turns out, since my home is on the same property I do not need toilets in the kitchen building,  I still need an approved way to manage grey water but not black water.

Now thinking on ways to dispose of grey water.

Anyway, the point of this post is if you are interested in going the whole nine yards and producing yourself, have a sit down with your health official.
