fermenting What's growing in my ferment

I have never experienced anything growing on my ferments before. I started this ferment last Wednesday night. I have two containers going with the same exact mash. One is growing white stuff on it and one is not. What is this? Should I be concerned?

Ok thanks! two questions. Can I continue the ferment or should I stop it and skim this off? Also why did this happen to this Bach and none of the others?
No Please do not open ferments. Fermenting 101.   Kahm yeast is harmless just let the ferment run its coarse then skim off as best you can before processing .  Fermenting is and anaerobic environment free of Oxygen so opening defeats the whole point allowing  oxy to contaminate that ferment. I've processed a few and could not taste any difference :)   So just let it run my friend.
Looks like you have a lot of head space try using more brine next time less oxygen to remove.  I've also never had a kahm yeast issue when i used whine as a brining liquid.  Give it a try :)

Ok thank you! I have done a dozen or so ferments the same exact way and never had it before. I gave up on holding the mash under the brine a long time ago. It usually expands so much and I just constantly mix to release co2. I always leave a little head space for it to expand . This time it hasnt expanded that much either. Here is a picture so you can see my original head space.
