Hard Copy Catalog?

I have been getting the Pepper Joe catalog for many years.  Even with the Internet, the business continues to publish a very attractive and colorful seed catalog each year.  I think it was Pepper Joe that used to put out a photo copy list / catalog back in the day.  The bigger seed companies all do it, but haven't seen too many catalogs in the pepper niche.  Do you think it is worth it or do you think it is a hold over from pre internet days?

Had this nutty idea that I would produce a catalog mainly for seeds, but that also lists approximate dates fresh pods would be available.  Make the thing look and sound like a menu at a restaurant.

What do you think?  Too retro?

I love getting seed catalogs in the winter. They help me beat the winter blues and I start looking forward to the future. I get a lot of catalogs. I'm sure most of us do. But, I don't order from most of them. The catalogs are more for entertainment value to me.
If you can make a small catalog inexpensively, it would be a cool thing to include with an order. If you just send them to anyone who wants one I think that you'll waste a lot of money and not get much in return. After all, the customer has most likely found the info that they have about you on the internet. Why exactly would they need a free catalog if the info is already online?
On a different note, whenever I had some really cool catalogs, especially from one of the small businesses, I would leave it somewhere when I finally got bored looking at it. I would leave it at the doctor's office or barber shop or some place like that just to help spread the word about the company and their great products.

Think about this. You've been getting the Pepper Joe catalog for years now but when is the last time you ordered from PJ?
