Need help with this

Been reading the forum for about a year.  Five months ago, I planted some seeds from a ghost pepper I bought at a city market.  Not sure it's a Ghost, a Naga Morich, or something else.

The color is a redish orange.

It's grown indoors, and this is the plants' first ripe pod.

Thanks

Give it time and a few more pods. Although I agree it's not leaning towards Bhut, or Naga for that matter, many times the first set of pods don't represent what future pods will look like.

Well, that's dissapointing.  At least I have a name for the type and will and continue to let it grow.

I still would like to grow some bhuts.  Anyone know of a place that sells quality seeds other than New Mexico State University?

How's the site superhotchiles?

Thank you for all the help with this.

Check out Buckeye https://www.buckeyepepper.com/, Midwestchileheads https://www.midwestchileheads.com/, Pepperlover http://pepperlover.com/ and White Hot Peppers https://www.whitehotpeppers.com/collections/open-pollinated-seeds

Superhotchiles.com is Jim Duffy's site. Good reputation, but also a little pricier than many other vendors. I bought some Pimenta de Neyde seeds from him last year and they grew true.

Thanks for the links, and the info.  I think half the fun of growing is figuring out what to grow.
