That's a lot of air from that fan directly on those babies even on low?.....maybe think about turning it around so air is buffered from the wall?

Couldn't hurt to get the fan on something stable and off the floor a foot as well....looking good so far  :surprised:

You should have some really nice plants in April/May  ;)

working on a new 4x8  bed for next year. added 3 more feed  bags of sheep poop, and a feed bag of ash i dug out my burn pit.  still got worm casting and rabbit dropping to add too.

i was thinking 6 plants per bed?  i did 8 cayanne peppers last year in the other 4x8 bed...i felt like it was crowded toward the end

what say yall?

yea...just been lazy to set  the timer.  18/6 would save on the electric.

on that new 4x8 raised bed i am working on....if i turned it into a covered  hoop bed, would i get to put out my starts early?  then uncover in summer and recover right about now?  now that would be a long growing season.

Nice job...what kind of winter temps do you guys see?

I don't think I can do that here with the hard freezes we get in January into Feb usually.

I am trying to come up with a mini greenhouse option on the fly for next spring though.

I like that cover you made.....simple and effective ;-)

  thanks
we dont get hard freezes hardly ever under 32 for more than a day or so at a time.
  i am in zone 9a

i am gunna test my electric skills, gunna come off the 220v box there by my a/c and split to a 110 outdoor receptacle.

so i can put in a heat source.
