Spicegeist 2017 – Twelve Variations on “Bhut Jolokia”

Besides my [not insignificant] overwinters and plants I already have going, I may only start these twelve seedlings of my absolute favorite bhut and bhut crosses:

Wow, that was fast! Thanks for sending those seeds Charles. They came in the mail today.

Think you'd be interested in some Alphanerdz-strain Douglah seeds and some curried pineapple hot sauce made with Scotch Bonnets?

Yes!  Each seed packet marked 2016 is from a different pod from that plant... I like to grow out seed from different pods, I imagine it might help slightly with the genetics...
Ok. I'll let you know which I choose to grow out. Sadly I don't have room for all of them. But if I share them around THP I will faithfully pass on the correct identification.

Of the 4, Is there a particular specimen you'd like me to try?

OK.  Grow whichever you like, share whatever you want, that's fine... there's nothing especially noteworthy about their differences at this point.

Those plants are looking really happy in the winter sun.

Yep, it's so strange to see.

Wow! Looking good. They really are liking that afternoon sun. All night! I wouldn't dare. That's crazy.

Thanks for sharing.

I know, seems crazy, but the temps are completely manageable.

Very nice Charles! I had mine out in the sun too yesterday, been really warm this month here.

Are they going in the dirt or are you doing a container grow?

Container grow only for me.  I do look at fields near where I live and imagine them planted with bhut jolokia though!
