Strawberry jam

My coworker moonlights for a produce distributor. So he brought me 2 flats of strawberries that where going bad. Had a few in each quart that where bad. Got a package of sure gel and followed the instructions. Except I added 6 scotch bonnet s and one scorpion. Ended up with 9 half pints. It's got great flavor and not so hot that I am the only one that can eat it.

I love making strawberry preserves with hot peppers.  You can use it on PBJs, put it on bagels with cream cheese, or even on a hot dog with swiss cheese, etc.  Sweet heat is where it's at, IMO.

I just wish I had made 10x as much last year.  It is only December, but my supply is already getting low.
 
Jnance, welcome to the world of hot-jam-making! It will surely get addictive and you'll find more and more people who love hot peppers just by sharing your hard work.
