Germination chambers in March.

Mostly sunny and cool - 34˚F (1˚C )last night, 36˚F tonight and 39˚F Saturday night.
Then lows up into the 40's for 4 or 5 days, with high's in the 50's and 60's (10-15˚C).

Boy, that's a lot of powder Paul! I'd declare your grow a success. will you use any of your Ancho powder to make a chili powder blend?

Thats the plan, Rick - I might try to make some kind
of dry rub or something as well.

The Saveur website has a good recipe for a rub using Chimayo chile powder that can probably be modified. I'd use a powder blend with sweet paprika in it to substitute.
Cheers!

I have some mild powders that I mix with the really hot
ones to modify the heat a little and to add some flavor.
Usually Padrons, but I have some pepperocini powder
tucked away somewhere that might be good as well.

Hope Fall is treating you well, Rick!

Late harvest; BOC, Aji Lemon Drop, MoA Scotch Bonnets.
More pods to de-seed, dry and grind. Sigh

It is Paul... It's kinda dry since it hasn't rained in a few weeks but I only had to cover the chiles twice in that time to protect them from frost. The extended forecast was changed to predict the next frost in another week, so I'll probably get one more pull before the season's done here.
Glad to see you're keeping your dehydrator busy. [emoji106]
