Harvested Giant TS CARDI pods tonight, some absolutely massive ones... not the a-typical CARDI pheno as from my veteran but great looking pods nonetheless.

White Bhut W Strain, developed by Jay Weaver... seeds supplied via Justin at white hot peppers... gnarly white bhut pheno that ripens through white and ends up deep ivory / pale lemon colour. They are really hot and tasty, love white pods! Think I'll be rustling up a special batch of powder with these bad boys!

Nice harvest, Dennis! Smoke the White Bhuts first, if you can ;) They make a fantastic smoked powder!

Looking good, Dennis! Hopefully, you won't get stuck with too many green pods when it's all said and done

Cheers!

Cheers Mike, I've hopefully got at least another month until the final curtain so fingers crossed lots of ripening time!

Chupetinho is surprisingly hot, those little pods sure pack a punch.  Strong / typical chinense flavour... hoping the pickling process mellows them a little, I've gone for a slightly sweet spiced vinegar.

Aji White Fantasy and Aji Fantasy... beautiful big, crunchy pods.

Rocoto Rio Huallaga grown initially in greenhouse then moved outside end of June, has been podding well all summer and seems in its element in the cooler autumn temps... well over 2m and threatening the view from our living room and the pods have a unique, blistering heat.

I really like the choop , always very productive and attractive plant .

Mine is nice and hot with a distinctive chinense aroma . How do you use yours?

That is exactly as I'd describe mine Karoo!  Besides eating them whole and wishing I paid the tiny pods more respect afterwards, I've pickled mine in a slightly sweet spiced white whine vinegar this year... can't wait to try them!
