seeds Looking for BIG Ghost Pepper seeds......

I've been growing Ghost Peppers for 4 or 5 years now. I enjoy them, and have had a lot of success.  I've looked around, and some people seem to have larger pods than I do. I know the environment and other factors can contribute to pod size, but I'd like to start with seeds from large pods in order to ensure the best possible outcome. I've checked a few retailers and I don't see any that look too much different from mine. Does anybody know of a retailer or grower that has larger pods?

   Thanks in advance,

    Tim

Don't know if these are what you are considering big, but I thought they were nice size.  If want to try any send me a message.  Like others said environment plays a big part, so not sure if they would grow as big in your area, but maybe they would be even bigger, hard to tell for sure.

its just that u got atomic growing soil !

Container size, grow medium and dialing in the nutes is what will get you that length and girth you're missing ;) !

I got some gigantic ghosts from a friend a few years ago, he referred to the variety appropriately enough as "gigantic ghost."  I've grown the seeds from them a few times and the pods are indeed pretty large.  I have plenty, if you want some pm me an address.

Thanks for all the comments. I apologize for taking so long to respond. I typically grow in my Ghost in 10 gallon pots, but last year I grew in about a 25 gallon pot. If you check out my videos, it'll tell you everything you need to know. I even made a video demonstrating how I set up my pots, and what nutrients I use. I start with BX Pro Mix HP for my medium. I add dolomitic lime, osmocote fertilizer, bone meal, blood meal, and mushroom compost. I alternate my fertilizer during the season. I use both Miracle Grow AP and Alaska Fish Emulsion.

jcw10tc... Those pods look great. I'd love to try a few of those, definitely the Peach. Do you sell or trade seeds?

theBelvidere.... I'll try any seeds you want to share. I have a lot to trade. or am willing to purchase.

moruga welder..... Sorry, I can't remember off the top of my head who had the large pods. I looked at Judy's over at Pepperlover, but apparently she's sold out.

    Thanks again,

Hey jcw10tc, you got any seeds from those giant bhut red pods left?  I grew out some of my gigantic ghost seeds last year and they turned out to be crossed with something, they definitely weren't the ghosts I was looking for.  I'll gladly pay for about 30 of them, or I have plenty of MOA Scotch Bonnet and Yellow 7 Pot seeds I can trade.  I have one small garden spot separate from my main spot and every year I grow a single variety there to ensure they don't get crossed with anything.  Two years ago it was the bonnets, last year the yellow 7 pots, so I know those are pure strains  By the way I tried to PM you but it said you couldn't accept any new messages.

Peppernovice, sorry I never got back to you, but it's a good thing I didn't or I would have sent you some of those bad seeds.

My Bhut Jalokia Indian Carbon pods are always quite large. Seeds came from PepperLover.

I have seeds for Umorok Red and Umorok Chocolate that originated directly from Imphal, Manipur, India
and also seeds for domestic Brown Naglah hybrid. I can get you the seeds from the actual pods in the photos
as I kept seeds from the largest pods separate. PM me if you're interested.
