I've been doing the same. The only issue I run into is if I glue them too early, they drop, you have to wait until basically what looks like the day before they are going to open, then glue them

Never had one reaper seed pop, if i were to guess, i would say the seeds were irradiated, rendering them useless. This is a nice project to see happening.

I found a good branch on the CPR JW and put some breathable white paper around it. Pretty sure I saw at least 10 flowers with more on the way so I tied it at the base and stapled it all around. I'll tap the branch now and then - should be more than a few isolated pods in there for distribution to anyone that wants them in the CPR seed train in the fall (if anyone wants in that is).

Well, they don't have the pheno or the right color unless they go brown after this. But they came from Butch, and I did not mislabel or mix up anything. Maybe I just got "lucky" with a weird gene that decided to show.

They dont look like anything else I'm growing either.

Me too, its a very cool orangish red. Keeping seeds from it and I'll likely try to overwinter the plant also.

Some people get bhut shaped reapers, so maybe it's that bhut shape coming through from the reaper side.

Well, this is rather disappointing; the small CPR plant pods are red:

But the pods are good size and, while not the classic Primo/Reaper shape, quite wrinkly and have great shoulders.

I believe this will be my overwinter plant.

Nah, that's not disappoining, that's exciting! We are all getting something different, so it's cool to see what each of us end up with. I'm going to overwinter mine as well and try to overwinter as many of my other plants as I have room for.
